CHARLESTON, SC — We are thrilled to reintroduce ourselves to the Greater Charleston Area: We are The Wild Pet Stores of Charleston, SC, formerly known as All is Well in both West Ashley and James Island. We have been serving the pets and pet lovers in the community for the last 16 years with the highest quality food and nutritional advice in the area. We're still here, just with a new name, an updated store, the most unique treats, highest quality diets, and professional pet nutrition education services.
The shift to “The Wild” occurred to reflect what we believe in, truthful help for pet owners. We focus on the fact that mother nature created our dogs and cats as carnivores and by centering their diets around this principle, pets can, and have been, proven to live longer healthier and happier lives. Education is our passion and we would like to extend our knowledge and services in pet nutrition to the greater Charleston community.

Each staff member at The Wild is required to complete and to pass stringent courses which include: Pet Nutrition, Raw Food Nutrition, and Advanced Pet Nutrition—just to start. We continue to assist countless pets in recovering naturally from chronic issues such as allergies, itchy skin, yeast, digestive upset, picky eating habits, and even diabetes and pancreatitis. Owner Ryan Gephart states, “We are extremely excited about the complete transformation of our stores. The product lines, the look, and feel, the message we are portraying, the specialties we will focus upon, the education level of the employees, as well as the name of the business...all were subject to review. In many cases, we found we didn't like what we saw along with some we did. We made drastic changes where necessary and you will experience that in the birth of The Wild. We are committed to our values and not selling out and will continue to strive to be the best and most unique pet store around. It is ever-evolving and what we wanted your pet shopping experience to truly be.”
We are aware of no other outlet or store that offers the varied amount and type of bulk natural treats and chews than The Wild Pet stores; including crocodile, kangaroo, water buffalo, fish eyes, octopus, ostrich and plenty of the familiar chicken, beef and lamb pets love. We also offer the most nutritious, freshest species-appropriate raw food diets and freeze-dried foods, as well as the best selection of dry foods on the market today. All products at The Wild undergo tremendous scrutiny so our customers can be confident in having optimal choices for their pet's health. We consider ourselves “the Whole Foods of pet stores.”
