Bullies To The Rescue Comes to the Lowcountry!
No BULLs about it, Bullies to the Rescue, an English and French Bulldog Rescue, is in South Carolina!B2TR was established in North Carolina in 2012 after recognizing an immediate need for English and French Bulldogs. Popularity without proper research on THE breed, specific maintenance and ailments led to many being abandoned, dropped in shelters, Breeder dumps, and genetically challenged and sick puppies EUTHANIZED. Being the cost associated with the breed and its maintenance, there were no alternatives without the existence of a Rescue. Courtney Vaux, the President and Director started the rescue with the support of Bully Nation for the Breed she knew and loved. Since being Founded Breeders have been shut down, Puppies with genetic flaws are given a chance, shelter dogs have a place to go, and people who are unable to provide medical needs have a safe place to turn to. The need continues and grows, since Inception Bullies to the Rescue has expanded to Alabama and South Carolina. How can you help in the LOW Country? Please note that Bullies 2 the Rescue relies on a foster network and does NOT have a shelter for you to visit. Additionally, we rely on our volunteers to review, call and perform home visits. Please keep this in mind when applying to adopt a bulldog.Foster! We are in constant need of foster homes as well. What do you do as a foster? You provide a loving TEMPORARY home for a bulldog while they are evaluated and, if necessary, brought back to good health. Remember, a lot of our bullies come in with health issues that are easily fixed and just need some love and proper care.
