May the Dogs Be With You Festival 2019

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away a group of rebel dogs decided to throw a festival in their honor…

All great sagas start with a purpose and our 3rd Annual May The Dogs Be With You Festival is no different. On May 18th of 2019, Over 800 people and dogs came out to Deep Water Vineyard for this Lowcountry Dog event. Being one of the most fun and anticipated festivals of the year, this year’s incorporated so many great things….great food and libations, Star Wars, live music and a great cause…DOGS! 6 local rescues participated in the festival, bringing adoptable dogs and educating the attendees on their organizations. Local vendors, food trucks and local businesses were out to support the rescue community,

The event raised $2250 for the 6 groups adding to the growing total that Lowcountry Dog Magazine has raised for local rescues in the first 5 months of 2019 to almost $20,000!
