Want to know what to expect at this weekend's Lowcountry Paws and Claws Pet Expo? Check out the schedule below, as well as the insider scoop on what is planned at the booths. There's amazing prizes, wonderful giveaways, free passes and much more! Have fun!
The event is at the Ladson Exchange Park from 11am-4pm Saturday Sept. 18th. Admission is free. Parking is free.
Vendor Booth Specials and Activities. Most of these guys advertise in Lowcountry Dog. When you stop by their booths, please tell them thanks for helping make the magazine possible!
Charleston Dog House is giving away $75 gift certificates, free Daycare passes, frisbees, and bandanas. Loads of good stuff at this booth!
All is Well is raffling off a gift basket of goodies from their holistic store.
Cheryl Provost Photography's booth will have a Free Photo Session Giveaway. Just in time for holiday photos!
Dogs "R" Us will have free treats and a Free In-Your-Home Lesson Giveaway! Train your dog out of counter surfing just in time for your holiday feasts.
Carolina Coonhound Rescue will have an amazing raffle basket worth close to $300!
The Learning Canine will have a raffle for a Free In-Home Private Tutoring Session. Tickets are $1/per entry. At the end of the day, a drawing will be held and the rescue group drawn will receive all the proceeds from the raffle.
Dolittle's will have a drawing for an terrific basket of goodies. Dolittle's always has great toys, so I'm sure there there will be some in this basket.
My Three Dogs will be giving out coupons for a free day of daycare or a free bath to first time visitors. They will be raffling off 2 certificates for "The Works Spa Package plus A Day of Daycare" ($65 value). Also 2 certificates for 5 days of daycare ($125) value, and 2 certificates for $10 off a "Full Groom".
Expressions of Love Memorial Products will have a drawing for an original numbered Jim Booth print.
Sun Dog Cat Moon will provide a prize of a TCVM Examination and Food Consultation valued at $150.00
At the Paddling Paws/Wigglebutt Grooming/Roberta Braun Photography booth look out for a Pet Expo Photo Session GiveAway!!! Register for a drawing of a free pet/family photo session ($300 value) with all pictures on CD ($85 value). Paddling Paws will also be doing a drawing for a free swim session so if you have ever wanted to try swim therapy with your dog, make sure to stop by.
Lucia's is sponsoring the Animal Rescue & Relief Booth. Get some treat bags with food and treat samples and enter in the drawing for a $20 gift certificate to the store. Don't leave without picking up a "Breeder Red Flag Flyers" and meeting some of the adoptable dogs!
Check out the Daisy's Place booth where you can meet low-key adoptable senior dogs and pick up info on their partner Planet Bark! Planet Bark has also donated a gift basket for the day's competitions.
Doc at Your Door will be giving away treat bags and info on their mobile vet services.
Doody Calls will have a kids corner with coloring contests and puzzles, as well as a drawing for a gift certificate toward pooper scooper services! Who wouldn't want to win that!
Stop by the Lowcountry Golden Retriever Rescue booth and take part in their "Adopt a Ballon Dog" fundraiser.
The Hairy Winston booth will have a raffle for a basket filled with wonderful things from the store, and will also be giving away treats and info from Pleasant Pet Sitters.
Wags to Whiskers Pet Sitters will be giving away a free day of pet sitting services at their booth.
The good veterinarians from Daniel Island Veterinary will be at the Pet Helpers booth microchipping. Only ten dollars for implant and registration!
McAlister Smith Pet Cremation and Memorial Services is planning to do several drawings throughout the day. They will also be giving away heart-shaped pill boxes for your purse, desk or car. The boxes will be filled with candy for the event, but they are perfect to keep a few Tylonol or Advil handy.
And for all your Scooby Doo lovers, the Accurate Chiropractic booth is not to be missed. Go by and see their two Danes, one of which is actually named Scooby! And he's huge, I tell you. HUGE! (and sweet). The good doctors are also giving away a dog adjustment package worth $99.00 and new patient package worth $250.00. They'll also be giving chair massages. That sounds nice!
