SC Pit Bull Rescue Adoptable Dogs

Happy November & Happy Adoptable Dog Friday! This week we are featuring South Carolina Pit Bull Rescue. SC Pit Bull Rescue is a privately run rescue which uses a foster home program to rescue Pit bulls. All of the dogs in the program are kept in foster homes, where they recieve proper care and basic obedience training. Please consider adopting a dog in need. They deserve to spend the holiday season with their forever family!

Melissa from SCPBR wrote in to get some extra exposure for this little guy: "He hasn't gotten much interest and we're baffled as to why... he's young, healthy, gorgeous, and has been with our rescue for a few months now."

1. Delta

  • Delta is only about 6 months old and is soooo ready for his furever home!! He is in a fabulous foster home with another dog and gets along great. He is very playful and would do best in an active home. He shows some dominant personality traits, so he should not be placed with another dominant dog. Delta is great with kids, very playful, and a ton of fun! He has lots of energy, so he'll need a home that's willing to take him on daily walks, throw the ball, play with toys with him, and let him be the rumbuncious puppy he is. Delta is an amazingly handsome guy too and is beautifully photogenic! Delta was abanadoned at the airport by his owners who were not allowed to bring him on the plane. They were planning on flying him to Germany with them, but they did not anticipate the heat restrictions for planes! A good samaritan who was working at the airport took him in and brought him to us. Delta is ready for his forever home!!! Delta is neutered, vaccinated and has an identification tattoo (something his previous family did for him for his planned move to Germany).

South Carolina Pit Bull's mission is to rescue homeless Pit Bulls from South Carolina animal shelters, provide proper rehabilitation and care to those Pit Bulls, and find them permanent, loving homes.
