Photography Workshop to Benefit Pet Helpers

Want to take better photos of your dog? Interested in helping out Pet Helpers with the number one tool that helps them adopt out more dogs?

Learn the basics of digital photography from the very photographer LCDM trusts with their photo shoots. Laura Olsen Imagery. Classes will be three hours, and will include both classroom and in the field training. We'll cover common problems and questions like:

• Why are my photos of my dog always fuzzy?

• How do I take a decent photo of my black dog? They always turn out so dark!

• My dog is shy or scared of my camera. How can I get her to look at me?

Along with settings and basic technical stuff we will cover how to prepare to get the best photo, finding good light and things to have on hand to work with the animal to get the best image. This will be a consolidated course filled with practical information for making the most of your photos of your pets at home, and shelter animals to help them put their best paw forward. So, come ready to laugh and learn... It's gonna be a great time!

Your subjects will be dogs awaiting adoption at Pet Helpers. Photos from the workshop will then be published on lowcountrydog.com and marketed through Facebook to help each dog find a loving home.

Our next POINT & SHOOT photography class will be held on Saturday, Sept 29th from 1-4pm and will benefit Pet Helpers. Cost is $45. Space is limited to only 25 people. Our first class filled in a week so don't delay! To get more information on this class, fill out the form below or call us at 843-478-0266.

*Please note that purchasing a spot in one of our special event workshops is much like purchasing a ticket to a concert. There are no refunds if you purchase a spot,  but then can not attend. You can transfer your spot to a friend, or you can contact us about taking a later course. Thank you for understanding.
