Meet a Lowcountry Dog: Biscuit
Biscuit is my six year old Golden Retriever. I'll never forget the night I brought her home from her foster house. She was nervous but eventually made her way onto the the couch and cuddled up next me. It was a match!
Biscuit is borderline obsessed with fetching tennis balls. Swimming is a close second favorite thing though. Other loves include chasing cats/squirrels/squirrel-cats, food of all kinds, the neighbor dogs and watching a fresh garbage bag getting shaken open.
Biscuit is blindly friendly - even to angry dogs. She is absolutely down for anything, at any time...as long as vacuums are not involved.
Biscuit has had more than her share of tough breaks (her previous owners gave her up to a rescue, a couple of tumors, sprains, allergies, etc) but she never lets it get her down. That kind of positivity and unconditional living of life to the fullest is truly contagious.
