Meet a Lowcountry Dog: Ace

Ace is my 19 month old Carolina dog. When we got the dog pool for the backyard is probably my most memorable moment and is still very entertaining to watch. Ace discovered the water and would start off stepping his paws in the water then he would run around the entire yard, come back then stick his stomach in and drink the water then run around the entire yard, stop then roll around in the dirt. Then he would repeat all of the above multiple times until he was completely black and exhausted.

He loves playing fetch with tennis balls, playing with his sister, going for runs and playing at the dog park! Ace is shy and eager. His sister takes the spotlight because of her personality but he's the one that will be there when she's off being entertained by the next best thing! He's the baby of the two for sure and he knows his little puppy face will win you over.

Ace has made me appreciate more of the down time. He's always up for a nice back or belly rub and just relaxing on the porch or even in bed. As long as I'm present, he never lets me out of his site.
