Make a Difference: Donate to Celia's Fund

We don't know where Celia came from or where she has been. We don't know her history, her background, or whether she was abandoned or whether she was simply lost and couldn’t find her way back home. We do know she was brought to the Frances R Willis shelter by Animal Control. We do know that Celia is a sweet natured young dog - a golden lab that is going to need the help of the dog lovers in our community before she can find a home.

Celia is in trouble. We do know that at some time in the past Celia sustained an injury to the head of her femur that never healed properly. She cannot run and play and she is in a great deal of physical discomfort. This has led to other medical complications. We do know that she is not adoptable at this time. We also know that Celia's condition is not hopeless. She can be free of pain and discomfort through surgical intervention. Celia needs an expensive procedure called a FHO.

Our shelter needs $975 to cover the surgery for Celia and we simply do not have the money to provide the medical for this one dog. Celia needs the help from the guardian angels in our community.

If you want to make a difference in Celia's life, you can donate to Celia's Fund by mailing your checks to:

The Frances R Willis SPCA         OR            FRWSPCA

                                                                 PO Box 714

Please indicate Celia's Fund on the check. Donations are also being accepted at the shelter. The shelter is located at 136 Four Paws Lane in Summerville. Be sure to indicate the money is for Celia. On behalf of Celia, we thank you for your consideration.
