Kodak to Introduce Green Eye Removal

There are 71 million pet owners in the United States, and I'm sure that nearly every single one of them has taken a photograph of their pets that would have been picture perfect if not for the evil green eye we often get with flash photography. I get tons of photos like this submitted to the Happy Hounds section of each issue of Lowcountry Dog, and short of asking people to submit a new photo taken outside in natural light, there's not much I can do. Even with photoshop, it's just super difficult to get rid of that green, glowing eye.

But the pros at Kodak have introduced a new feature at their Picture Kiosks, Pet Green Eye Removal! Much like the Red Eye tool they have now, this tool helps you easily fix pet eye glare. So now we can all capture our pet's personality, indoors or out, with and without a flash, and be assured we get a great shot. Dontcha love new technology?!

Have you seen this new feature at a Kodak kiosk yet? I haven't seen one, but am dying to try it out. If you find one, let us know where it is and tell us about your experience. In the meantime, watch a demo of the product in the video above.
