Some dogs and even puppies may be highly sensitive to commonly used proteins, carbohydrates and food additives in their diet. Allergic reactions can lead to irritable bowel, upset stomach, and a number of skin problems. Natural Balance® has created an entire line of Allergy Formulas for dogs with these food allergies. Each Formula has been created specifically for the needs of sensitive pets.

The fortunate winner will receive one 15# bag of Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diets (Venison, Bison, Duck or Fish) per month for 6 months. * In-Store pick up only. Lucia’s is on Daniel Island in the Publix Shopping Center.

Check out this amazing testimonial from a dog owner:

I am a member of an online group called K9-EPIGLOBAL. We are owners of dogs who suffer from a rare condition called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI). This condition renders our dogs incapable of naturally producing the digestive enzymes necessary to break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins so we must supplement their diet with theses enzymes as well as feed them kibble that is low in fat and fiber. By the time the condition is diagnosed, many of the dogs have lost up to 30% of their body mass.

The purpose of the online group is to provide help and guidance for those trying to get their recently diagnosed dogs back to a healthy state. There are around 1200 members in our group and many of us have had remarkable success with Natural Balance® Potato and Duck Formula in particular due to its low fat and fiber content.

As you can see in the before and after photo.. the results in a short period of time have been staggering!! She has gained almost 30 lbs in only a few months and is now back to her original weight!

Thank you for helping me get my own dog back to a healthy state. All the best, Marty Smets

The links for the FB fan pages are not working :( I will just have to go and search them out then.

My Golden Retriever Pup, Boomer, deserves to win the 6 months of Lucia's because I know it will help him to be the best puppy he can be. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Lucia's and what it can do for energy, let alone coat shine.

Here is to taking back dog food from the mass-produced, fat-and-protein-laiden, bulk-bagging companies.

Just an update...Found the FB pages and left comments there too. Super excited :)

Legend deserves to win 6 months of free dog food because he also has 2 big fur sisters (Lily & BG) who love to eat just as much as he does... he wants to make sure that as "man of the house" he takes care of his sisters.

My four-legged daughter Riveter deserves to win a 6 month supply of Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Dog Food because it is one of, if not the best products for dogs with sensitivities, and Riveter would love and could use dog food such as this. Being a rescued Greyhound, we all know that some of them don't have the greatest 'upbringing', but she is the most loving and wonderful dog anyone could ask for, and I hope to provide her with the best as she definitely deserves it.

My dog, Skylar, has the worst skin allergies and has lost almost all of her hair. Her groomer told me that Natural Balance was the only dog food I should feed her and while her hair may not all return in her lifetime (she is fourteen), her skin and allergies should heal making her feel so much better. So far she loves the Vegetarian, and I've started feeding it to both of my dogs exclusively. After a week, I can already see a difference in her scratching and chewing herself to death so I'm excited about using this product.

My dogs deserve the good just like they deserved the everlasting treat ball. they want it, u should give it to them. They are both English bulldogs and have serious protein allergies. right now i have them on Nutro, but its expensive for a freelance engineer like myself, that's why you should feed my dogs for 6 months... thank you.

Daisy (my Jack Russell mix) loves meal time and would certainly be a fan of Natural Balance! She is currently on a diet of EVO but would love to try a new dog food. I am committed to providing her with healthy food that also tastes good. And it would also help her to keep her girlish figure!

I have a 1 year old german shepherd mix she is the best dog anyone could ever ask to have I'm entering in my chance to win her some great food!

My dog Beau deserves to win because she is 19 years young and had a very hard life. She was rescued from a pitbull fighting area in NY where she was used as bait. When I got her from animal lcontrol she was bones and cuts. She has always been a model dog for pitbull rescues. Even though she had a horrible beginning life, she has never shown aggression to any human and loves children. Maybe the nutrition of Natural Balance dog food will help her live a few months longer. My son loves his "baby girl" Beau and believes she will live forever.

My dogs, Murphy and Dughan, both deserve to win because over the past six years these two shelter dogs have become an integral part of my life. Dughan, a yellow lab-pit bull mix, makes me smile every morning as I watch him wag his tail as he heads for the food bowl---he is a pretty big fan of eating. And Murph, loves tricking Dughan into there being something exciting going on in the yard so Dughan runs out the doggie door and then Murph has all the food to him self--he's a border collie mix, so incredibly smart! I can't imagine how much Dughan's tail would wag and what new schemes Murphy would come up with if they had this awesome food!

Hi, I'm Salty! I would love the opportunity to win free food! I was abandoned on the streets until I was caught and put in a shelter. I was too "feral" for adoption even thought i was only 3 months old. Luckily a rescue organization came and took my pack mates and I to help us find new lives.

And what a new life I have! I found my new family the first adoption event I went to. They weren't deterred by my timidness. Slowly they've helped me come out of my shell. I think having a fresh supply of water and not having to find my own food is great! Now I play with people and dogs, and know that it's always only a few hours until my next meal.

Taylor Made and Callaway deserve to win because they are the most awesome pair of collies around. They play hard, love hard, cuddle hard, train hard and eat heartily. Taylor stays on super premium foods because she had demodex as a pup. Callaway doesn't tolerate grains. Mom lost her job in February and needs all the help she can get keeping them fed.

Natural Balance is a great food. I'd love the chance to win and donate 6 months of food to Animal Rescue & Relief. Thanks LCD & Lucia's!

My family has always fed our dogs Natural Balance growing up. I'm now newly married and my husband and I just recused a little Dachsund/Aussie mix named Chevy. When we got her skin and coat were not in great shape and we then found out she had some stomach issues. We started feeding her Natural Balance and she has blossomed into cute little dog, and her stomach issues have gone away. Chevy would love to win six months of free Natural Balance, since its her favorite!

We have always fed our dog Natural Balance (original formula) and our dog did well. We switched to Wellness Core late last year, and are also pleased with it. We just tried to Sweet Potato and Bison (it seems like a really good food), and so far, so good. Our dog loves the taste, and it looks like it's really good for him. Our dog has some tummy issues, and a limited ingredient no grain diet is perfect for him. A free bag a month would be awesome!

WE have a 10 month golden retriever, who at 8 months developed severe skin itching. I am a believer in proper nutrition as a way to healing for myself and my son, so the first thing I considered was a grain/egg/chicken free diet. I set out to find a dog food that could help us. Katharine as Lucia's Premium Pet recommended Natural Balance with the exception of the Duck because poultry was suspected as an allergenic food for our dog Charlotte. It has been two months and the constant biting itching of her paws has stopped! WE are grateful and have been back for the treats as well as the bison, venison and fish! WE hope to win six months of your food!!! WOW! It is a great product!
Thanks, Joyce, Christopher and Charlotte

WE are big fans of Natural Balance Dog Food and would like to be entered into the 6 month food giveaway!!! WE have a 10 month old Golden who developed a severe skin itch/food biting. I believe in food as a way to healing so the first thing that I considered was changing our golden's diet. WE went to Lucia's Premium Pet to search out our options. I wanted a product that was egg/grain/chicken free. Katharine of Lucia's Premium Pet recomended Natural Balance with the exception of the duck as it may have the same effect as the chicken. The next step was hoping that Charlotte would eat your food and we are happy to report that she loves the food and the biting has subsided! WE are thrilled and also, Charlotte's ability to focus on training was greatly enhanced! WE would love to win 6 months of Natural Balance food! Thanks for the opportunity to win and thanks for a great dog food!

I am an avid user of Natural Balance. Before selecting this food, i checked the ingredents. They are premium. I use both the dry and can. My dogs all love it. I give my dogs mostly dry but i give them a dollop of can. I am a foster parent to 3 foster dogs, plus 4 of my own. All the dogs get Natural Balance. Not one foster dog has ever refused to eat Natural Balance. I feel Natural Balance gives my foster dogs the start they need before getting adopted since many of them have medical problems. Many foster parents in my rescue also reccomend Natural Balance to new adopters.

Natural Balance is such a great dog food! My Basset, Eloise, has been eating the Sweet Potato and Venison formula for the last few months. She has a food allergy - after spending a year going to a veterinary dermatologist, feeding her a prescription diet, and trying a food trial, as well as several
rounds of antibiotics when she had allergic reactions to different foods, we were still unable to figure out what exactly she's allergic to. The limited ingredient diet from Natural Balance is the perfect food; so far no more hives and itching, and she loves mealtimes! This will be her food from now on, so I'd love the chance to win 6 months of food!!
