All paintings are original oils on canvas and are priced according to size - please contact me for pricing information. I can work from your photos or take my own. It is best to select a photo that really reflects your pet's personality - the way you picture your pet when you think of him or her.

About the artist
Sheryl Stalnaker’s award winning oil paintings have been shown in juried shows such as the Telfair Museum of Art Fair in Savannah and the Piccolo Spoleto Exhibitions in Charleston. She has also shown her work in galleries in North and South Carolina and Georgia. She paints primarily with a palette knife instead of a brush, achieving a rich textural element in her paintings. The Charleston City Paper selected Stalnaker as an "Artist to Watch." Said the City Paper, "Plein air painting (painting from life) is a genre that seems to be saturated with talented local artists... but one particular artist who has set herself apart is Sheryl Stalnaker." They have been parents to two sweet Golden Retrievers, a feisty cat, and now boy-girl twins (sweet and feisty).
