About Us:

Relocating? Pets are Family too!

Moving is always stressful because there are so many details to handle. We often consider our children and jobs during the moving process, but we can't forget our extended family, our pets. There are numerous considerations for the actual physical move, and also considerations for acclimating them to a new environment, particularly if you are moving from a different state, climate, or country.

The Charleston area is very pet friendly, and particularly for dogs. There are numerous dog parks, special events, boutiques, and organizations that cater to the needs and rescue of dogs and cats. There are even some restaurants that have outside open area that permit dining with your dog in tow. Veterinary care is exceptional and abundant.

Charleston's outdoor environment which includes the sun, wind, water, vegetation, and sandy soil all may have an effect on your pet. Take care in vaccinating your pet annually, and ask your veterinarian about any special precautions. My dogs spend more time outdoors romping on the beach and swimming in the ocean and ponds, so I take special care with their eyes, ears, skin and coat. I've just learned that sand in your car or house is just a way of life here....but I wouldn't want to be any place else!

Yes, Charleston residents love their pets. They are family too! You'll see this in my photos. Big or small, we love them all.
