Daniel Island Animal Hospital
About Us:
Dr. Lynne Flood lives with her family on Daniel Island. She is a 1992 graduate of the Kansas State College of Veterinary medicine and an alumna of Wake Forest University (Go Deacs!). Her special area interests include geriatric pet care, surgery, and the medical and surgical care of rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and chinchilla. She practiced veterinary medicine in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Illinois before moving to Daniel Island. She has been taking care of pets and their owners in the greater Charleston area since 1999.
Dr. Bridget Luke is a 1997 graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State. She completed a large animal internship at the University of Georgia, and practiced veterinary medicine in Oregon for five years. During that period, she discovered her love of small animal medicine. She has been seeing patients regularly at Daniel Island Animal Hospital since May 2006, and brings a wonderful bedside manner to our practice. Her areas of interest are geriatric medicine and wound management.
Dr. Allison Chappell joined us in the Spring of 2007. She was born and raised in Charleston, graduated from Bishop England High School, and earned a B.S. in Animal Science from Clemson University in 1999. She then attended Tuskegee University, graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She practiced in Beaufort S.C. for two years before moving back to Charleston with her husband. Dr. Chappell's special areas of interest include dermatology, internal medicine and treating allergies.
