Barbara Welles Portraits
About Us:
I grew up in a sporting family and have ridden race horses, fox hunters, & hunter-jumpers. I like hunting and fishing too. Therefore, the love of sporting art is in my genes.
I resigned from teaching art in public schools this past winter and am now painting full time.
Services:
I paint portraits of pets from photographs that I take of your dog, cat or horse. You may send me photos and I’ll see if I can create a portrait from your pictures. I can’t guarantee that I can work from your photos.
M.C. Churchill-Nash
About Us:
A professional artist for 30 years, Churchill-Nash began emphasizing domestic animals when friends and acquaintances began to request portraits of their pets after seeing her work. In 1977 this lead to a series of water color portraits to benefit the Knox County (TN) Humane Society, sponsored by Ralston-Purina. Churchill-Nash's work has been exhibited in the Harness Tracks of America art shows and the Art Show at the Dog Show, as well as numerous juried and invitational art competitions throughout the US.
