Louie and I 3 posts Jun 28, 2008 6:11 PM	Can anyone recommend a groomer who makes a GD look like a GD? I have been to 2 groomers in the area with no success. One insists on blowing his coat strait. He looks like a Sheepdog. The other cut his head and back legs like a poodle. I recognize that there is no "breed standard" but I have taken pictures and still they do their own thing. Help! Thanx for any response.

Joyce Guest Aug 21, 2008 5:29 AM	I use Carolina Grooming on Savannah Highway for my Labradoodle. He has a fleece coat and they do a beautiful job. They clean up around his feet (do not give him poodle feet), eyes, and rear end. Fleece coats tend to look "blown out" when the pup is dried. I, and the groomer, simply spritz him with the water bottle once he is all dry and his coat fleeces up again. I don't let any clippers near his coat. Hope this helps.
