Day trip to Charleston with small dog...

We will be driving to Charleston from Myrtle Beach for a day trip in June. We will have our 7 lb chi and 12 yr old son. Where should we eat? Will Bubba Gumps allow our dog if we dine outside? Can we take her to the outdoor market? How about Patriot's Point? We thought about taking her to a day care for a half day if she's not allowed at Patriot's Point. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Bubba Gump will allow your dog in the outdoor eating area. And you'll be fine in the outdoor market area as well. I don't think Patriot's Point allows pets, at least not on the tour of the ship. Check out the LCD guide for a listing of doggie day care facilities in the Mt. Pleasant area. Your dog would probably have more fun there than on an old ship anyway!

Patriot's Point does not allow animial. There are several Doggie Daycares in the Mt. Pleasant area. My two Jack Russell's go to My Three Dogs. Kris and the staff there are wonderful with all dogs (3 lbs - 300 lbs). Check them out at www.mythreedogs.com
