Hi everyone!

I'm searching for someone who has a heart for pit bulls. My husband found a 4-6 month old pit bull puppy emaciated and wondering around downtown Charleston. No one in the area claimed him. We've taken the dog into our home to clean him up and give him a safe place to stay, but unfortunately we can't keep him. The puppy is behaving fantastically with us and our other animals (a Beagle and a cat). He has shown no signs of aggression, including around his food and bones we have provided. He's a sweetheart who needs someone to provide him with leadership and a loving household. If there is anyone interested, please leave a message here. I can provide my phone number to serious inquiries.

Hi:

i would contact the local pit bull club. Some of their members might be interested in adopting the dog or could help you find a good family for the dog.

For info on how to join our club contact Jack Turner at t: carolinapits@bellsouth.net or 843-709-2354. The club is also listed on the ADBA web site wwwadba.cc under SC Clubs"

Hope that helps you find a good home for your pit,
Leah

you could try looking for no kill shelters that would take him on petfinder.com or list him under adoptable animals on petfinder and try to get him adopted yourself. Hope everything works out!

I have a brindle and his brother passed away recently. I am currently looking for a companion for him. You can contact me at unctosc@yahoo.com or tree_splat@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
Cory
